Home

Charbonneau Vineyard is one of the oldest and active vineyards within Walla Walla County. It was planted in the early 1980s by the Owner Michael E. Witherspoon.  Consulting services were provided by Dr. Wade Wolf and Dr. Tedd Wildman.

By 1998, Charbonneau Vineyard expanded its Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc capacities to accommodate the demand for high quality varietals and the usual blends of these three classics.  At present the vineyard produces about equal tonnages of whites and reds. The classic white are Johannisberg Riesling, Semillon, and Chardonnay.
